What We Learned Building SEM Lab V1

Notes on shaping a focused studio site around clear services, useful interactions, and a direct path to inquiry.

Make the offer easy to recognize

The first version of the SEM Lab site needed to explain what the studio does without stretching the message across too many directions. We organized the story around websites, product interfaces, and the path from structure to launch.

We also kept interactions purposeful. Motion can help guide attention, but the content still needs to make sense when motion is reduced or unavailable.

Keep the next iteration open

A first version is a working foundation. It gives us a place to observe where explanations are clear, where questions remain, and which parts deserve more depth.
